Mortgage Protection Center

By Anonymous - Posted on 05 July 2009

This company has been sending me junk mail about so-called mortgage protection by printing my lender and amount of my loan on my address. How is this legal? I want this stopped and find this kind of privacy invasion alarming.

There is more than one company that sends mortgage protection solicitations, so just calling one probably won't fix it.192.168.1.1&192.168.0.1&mortgage calculator

Unfortunately, I niavely filled out that form, thinking I would just compare what they have to offer. What I received was harassment for the following year. I had two agents show up at my door, and at least six different agents call me repeatedly, many refusing to take no for an answer. I actually thought about suing for harassment! One agent finally confided in me that the info on those forms is sold to agents for leads. He was very unhappy to hear that he paid for a lead that several other agents had also paid for, and that I was already feeling harassed and angered. Beware---do NOT fill out that form!!!!!
