I wouldn't do business with this company simply because I don't like their grammar, in particular their excessive use of capitalization. They make it look like "Mortgage Loan" or "Accidental or Natural Causes" are some sort of official terminology.
Most of all, though, I wouldn't do business with a company who doesn't even feel like they can put their company name and address, a phone number, or a person's name on the letter. All I get is a PO Box. Though other posts on this site have granted some legitimacy to the mailings from this mystery company (NAA), any unethical scammer could open a PO Box and just start mailing bills to people around the country. Perhaps based on this model, we should all start businesses where we open a PO Box and mail people bills for our time, materials, postage, and "expertise" in sending them bills.
This particular letter had a barcode on the top, and I have seen at least two phone numbers elsewhere on this site where people have recommended calling to opt out. I have personally opted out several times. It has been several months since I received a "mortgage protection" letter like this, so opting out at least appears to slow down the traffic of this junk (until they refresh their records from the local county register).
I also dont see any sense in doing business with this company, and dont pay attention on these letters.
I have been an agent for 8 years and The best Program to protect your mortgage
is with Universal Life with Critical illness and Long term care built in.
These policies accumulate cash and you don't pay premiums for the critical illness if you don't use it. In addition, your premiums are guaranteed and in 20 years, worse case scenario 100% of your premiums are guaranteed!
I have met with clients who are paying very high premiums for Mortgage protection insurance with no cash accumulation.
