What does NAA actually do?

By Anonymous - Posted on 01 March 2007

Does National Agents Alliance actually sell any insurance or are they just a marketing arm for agents to get leads so they can sell insurance from some other carrier or underwriter? Is anybody at NAA even actually licensed to sell insurance?

If you want a much better opportunity then please contact me and I can lay it out and you can decide if not much higher level of commissions and better leads. If in Alabama call 877-400-0109 and can leave a message for help.

They started calling us 3 years after we requested information from them. They now call every Saturday morning and it's always someone different. Apparently they continue to buy bad leads. They insist the only way to have them stop calling is for them to come to your house and provide the information you've requested. In this case we requested information 3 years ago and they only started calling now. Harrassment as it's every single weekend.

I want to speak to this person that posted this lie and who is sitting in the basement of their Momma's house. looking at X rated videos and does not have a clue what we do at NAA....If this message sounds like I am upset with nutts like you speading the Junk..YOU ARE RIGHT.

I am affiliated with NAIFA and everything NAA is NAIFA is not. NAIFA is not an insurance company its the National Alliance of Insurance and Financial Advisors . Its an ethical community of PROFESSIONALS that have to be voted in.. Ergo; there is no NAA in the one that I am affiliated with.

They assist home owners in protecting their biggest investment. They generate leads by mailing to individuals who recently acquired a first or second mortgage. This information is readily and legally available in public records.

As both a former agent for NAA as well as an agency owner and principle I can speak for both sides of the coin when I say that NAA agents provide a valuable service for new home owners.
NAA has access to companies that specialize strictly in mortgage protection coverage and because they have a marketing agreement with various insurance carriers they can offer the products with no medical exam involved and issue policies on a standard rate for people that would not qualify otherwise due to health issues up to and including a table 4 rating.
All agents must be licensed in their state and carry Errors & Ommission Coverage. As with any specialized field, you will find good agents along with those that are not so good just like doctors, lawyers, politicians etc.
It is You, the consumer that ultimately makes the decision of whom to do business with so if you are uncomfortable with an agent then find someone you feel good about and that answers your questions and listens to what you need instead of trying to sell you what they want.

NAA is the vortex of hard sellers that pretty much back people into a corner and hard sell everything they have.. I was with NAA for a month before I figured out what kind of company they were.. I would say that they were the amway of insurance, but in amway the customer gets what they pay for..

NAA is simply a large organization of licensed insurance agents who generate lead for mortgage protection insurance. They assist home owners in protecting their biggest investent. They generate leads by mailing to individuals who recently aquired a first or second mortgage. This information is readily and legally available in public records. It is as straight forward a marketing offer as you will ever find: YOU bought a house, WE help insure that your loved ones can keep the house if you die...are you interested? Simple as the day is long.

I am an agent with NAA, and yes, all agent's at NAA are licensed to sell insurance. We handle a variety of companies, and sell Mortgage Life, along with ordinary Term, UL, Whole Life, Disability, and Annuities. NAA is what is known to the insurance world as an IMO or Independent Marketing Organization. They conduct the mailings to find people interested in our services (about 3% of people who receive the mailings return them), helping the agents to find people who are interested in our services. We write with only "A" rated companies and better such as Old Mutual, Fidelity, Foresters, Presidential, Assurity, and American Equity. In order to be an agent with NAA you must have an insurance license in whatever state(s) you conduct business, and you must carry a $1,000,000 Errors and Omissions policy.

Well they are well targeted and client oriented this should ensure me with the best services. I am also interested in a mortgage calculator, can NAA provide that for me?

NAA is not just a mortgage lead company, the people who work for NAA are have insurance licenses, they are appointed with several different carriers, and NAA helps us to get the solutions we need. Like I stated in the Junk mail information post NAA has exclusive usage of several different insurance products and we use that to better help our clients. Now not to say that we don't also offer what the other guys have, just that we have an edge. They do the mailing of the leads and the managing of the agents.
